Our grains are grown in the heart of New Zealand’s best arable farmland. A region renowned for its long stretches of stony, loam soil plains, with just the right mix of sunshine and rainfall for bumper harvests.
Gladfield Malt is a 500-acre farm near Dunsandel, about 41 km south of Christchurch city. We grow grains with another 150 contracted growers and employ 10 full-time staff.
Six different grain varieties are carefully tended and harvested at peak quality, to produce 50+ types of malted grains for domestic and export markets.
