Great land equals great malt
Our 500-acre crop farm is located in Dunsandel, 42 km south of Christchurch, in the heart of the Canterbury Plains. A region renowned for having the ideal climate, soil, sunshine and geography to grow the world’s best malts for brewing.
Together with 150 other growers growing grain to Gladfield Malt, we make our malts on a modern maltings plant producing 50+ types of malt for domestic and export markets.
